Dear Citizens,
I am very honored that you have decided to re-elect me to serve as your Sheriff for a second term.
It has truly been an honor to serve you since being elected your Sheriff in 2004. We faced several significant challenges when we took over in January, 2005. I promised to meet those challenges while creating a Sheriff's Office in which you would be proud. I am pleased to tell you that with your support and the hard work and dedication of tremendous employees, we met each challenge with determination and purpose. Specifically, I promised that I would use tents to keep more criminals in jail and out of our communities, put inmates to work, protect our children against sexual predators, close down Meth labs, cut unnecessary waste and put more deputies on the street, and improve the morale of the Sheriff's Office. We have met each and every challenge and fulfilled every promise.
While we can look back with pride at our accomplishments, now is not the time to be content. Now is the time to work harder than ever, to look toward the future so that we can meet and exceed the expectations of new challenges that face us in the years ahead.
You have my personal assurance that you have a Sheriff and a Sheriff's Office that will continue to work hard to make our community safe, protect your homes, protect your businesses and most importantly, protect your families and loved ones.
Now, I'll make a new promise to you. I promise that your Sheriff's Office will continue on the path to excellence and we will never forget that the Brevard County Sheriff's Office belongs to you, the citizens. It is our duty, honor and privilege to serve you by providing the highest quality service when you need us the most.
In your service,
Jack Parker
Sheriff of Brevard County
